PurpleStream collaborates with Octoshape to accelerate Internet content distribution landscape for global IPTV services.
PurpleStream Convergence has recently announced its partnership with cloud-based technology provider Octoshape, which seeks to provide IPTV services worldwide. The latest broadband IPTV service from PurpleStream, also known as PurpleCloud, will integrate Octoshape?s Infinite HD?M Federated Multicast Broadband TV platform.?This technology will provide broadcasters in India and the rest of Asia the ability to offer IPTV services to customers in North America, Europe and Australia.
PurpleStream?s core technology incorporates Adaptive Bit Rate Optimization with Single Source Multiple Device (SSMD) Delivery, which allows optimized video viewing experience with zero buffering. It is also offered as a managed service for broadcasters and Over the Top (OTT) operators, PurpleCloud maximizes Octoshape?s Infinite HD-M to deliver stable and dependable HD quality video streams to any device from basically anywhere at a fraction of the cost of current delivery systems.
